  Anna Williams

Centre Manager (& ECE teacher)

NZ Registered Teacher, Bachelor of Teaching ECE, Graduate Certificate Teaching English as an Additional Language

Tēnā koutou katoa. Ko Anna toku ingoa. It is my privilege to work alongside our amazing team of teachers, our families and their children. I have been with Rotorua Community Creche since 2011 and moved into this leadership role in 2021. I am privileged to be part of the Management Team and to work with, and lead, an awesome team of dedicated, passionate teachers. I am passionate about RCCK (Rotorua Community Creche & Kindergarten) and proud that we work very closely alongside families to provide a curriculum that meets their individual needs, from helping anxious children (and parents) settle in, referrals for additional needs, spotting a need for speech therapy to learning to spell their name, be independent or brave on the monkey bars.

I am a fully registered teacher with a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as an Additional Language.  I also have UK qualifications in Early Childhood and Diplomas in other areas.  Professional development has given me additional knowledge, including the Incredible Years programmes. Originally from England, I have lived in Aotearoa since 2004 with my husband and we have 5 amazing children who are all grown up now and out in the working world.

My teaching interests lie in particular in art, communication and special/additional needs. I believe in taking every opportunity to learn, and encourage our tamariki to be curious, to question, to give it a go!  I am always calm, approachable, smiley, happy and easy to talk to.  I am inspired by all children and hope to inspire them in return to have enquiring minds and a lifelong love of learning. It is a privilege to be part of your child's early learning journey and one we take very seriously, being led by your aspirations, hopes and dreams for your tamariki.

  Mariaan Krige

Diploma in Financial Accounting

Tēnā koutou katoa

My name is Mariaan Krige. I was born and raised in South Africa. I moved to Rotorua, New Zealand, in August 2019 with my family. I am married to the love of my life, and we are blessed with two beautiful children.

I am a qualified financial accountant but my love for children made me change my career to be more involved in the daily lives of children. I primarily work from home but am available for all your financial and administration queries. I look forward to seeing you and your child when I am in the office.

  Kelley Rust

NZ Registered Teacher, Bachelor of Teaching ECE, Diploma of Teaching ECE

Kia ora koutou, Ko Kelley toku ingoa.

Rotorua has always been my home and my husband and I enjoy living here with our two children and several pets who keep us smiling (and busy).

I have worked in early childhood since leaving school and I am a fully registered teacher.  I have my Bachelor of Teaching in ECE. As teachers we are always learning through the children, parents, professional development, and each other.  My professional development includes learning about the developing brain, movement with pre-school children, children with special learning needs, language and literature, Tikanga Māori and more...  I enjoy learning new ways to extend our children's learning through my practice.  I have an awesome job that includes wonderful children, supportive families, motivated staff and a great management team.  All this helps our tamariki become confident and capable learners, all while playing and having FUN!

 Keri Cannon

Certificate in Early Childhood Practice

Hi there,

Both of my children attended Rotorua Community Creche and Kindergarten, both from the age of two.

I joined RCK as a reliever when my eldest started school and my youngest was still having fun here,  which turned into part time employment.

I couldn't think of any other job that would bring me so much fun and enjoyment everyday in the way of nurturing our children and encouraging their curiosity.

I enjoy messy play, face painting and being creative.  If I'm not at work you can find me at Spotlight or Ajay's sourcing items to inspire creativity!
