Tena koutou katoa. Ko Anna toku ingoa. It is my privilege to work alongside our amazing team of teachers, our families and their children. I have been with Rotorua Community Creche since 2011 and moved into this leadership role in 2021. I am privileged to be part of the Management Team and work with, and lead, an awesome team of dedicated, passionate teachers.
I am a fully registered teacher with a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English as an Additional Language. I also have UK qualifications in Early Childhood and diplomas in other areas. Originally from England, I have lived in Aotearoa since 2004 with my husband and we have 5 amazing children who are all grown up now and out in the working world.
My teaching interests lie in particular in art, communication and special/additional needs. I believe in taking every opportunity to learn, and encourage our tamariki to be curious, to question, to give it a go! I am always calm, approachable, smiley, happy and easy to talk to. I am inspired by all children and hope to inspire them in return to have enquiring minds and a lifelong love of learning.
Tēnā koutou katoa
My name is Mariaan Krige. I was born and raised in South Africa. I moved to Rotorua, New Zealand, in August 2019 with my family. I am married to the love of my life, and we are blessed with two beautiful children.
I am a qualified financial accountant but my love for children made me change my career to be more involved in the daily lives of children. I am so grateful to be able to be a part of your children’s lives and am looking forward to getting to know each child.
Kia ora koutou, Ko Kelley toku ingoa.
Rotorua has always been my home and my husband and I enjoy living here with our two children and several pets who keep us smiling (and busy).
I have worked in early childhood since leaving school and I am a fully registered teacher. I have my Bachelor of Teaching in ECE and my first aid certificate. As teachers we are always learning through the children, parents, professional development, and each other. Some of the professional development I have attended includes learning about the developing brain, movement with pre-school children, children with special teaching needs, language and literature,Tikanga Māori and more... I enjoy learning new ways to extend our children's learning through my practice. I have an awesome job that includes wonderful children, supportive families, motivated staff and a great management team. All this helps our tamariki become confident and capable learners, all while playing and having FUN!

I am so excited to become part of the teaching team and look forward to forging positive responsive and reciprocal relationships with you the whanau and your tamaiti/tamariki.
I have worked in the Early childhood sector since 2008 and am a firm advocate for tamariki, whanau and kaiako.
I have two children of my own, Orson and Alani. We love to explore our whenua o Aotearoa, we love The Redwoods, our lakes, camping at the beach and making connections with friends, family, land and places.
Kia ora, my name is Caitlin Taylor.
I grew up in Taupo with my Mum, Dad and older sister Brooke. Then at the age of 18 I made the decision to move to Hamilton and start my journey in Early Childhood Teaching.
I have recently moved to Rotorua in November to live with my partner Josh.
In my spare time I enjoy exploring the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and travelling.
I have been working in the Early Childhood sector for 5 year, am qualified and fully registered.
I am so excited to be part of the Rotorua Community Creche and Kindergarten teaching team, and can't wait to build relationships with all of our wonderful tamāriki and whānau.
Kia ora koutou, ko Erin toku ingoa.
I have been in the early childhood environment in some way or another for the last few years and have just completed my third and final year of my Bachelor of Education (Teaching) in Early Childhood in December 2021, through Victoria University of Wellington. Born and bred in Rotorua, I have somehow found my way straight back home even after living in the fast-paced environment that Wellington has to offer for just over a year.
I am passionate about nature, travelling, food and baking, art, animals and just generally spending time with my friends and whānau.
Ever since I first stepped foot into RCCK, I knew it was special- for both myself as a kaiako, and for the tamariki and their whānau. I am thrilled and grateful to be a part of a team full of knowledgeable, passionate and supportive kaiako. I am now provisionally registered and have begun my two-year journey towards my full registration. I look forward to embarking on my teaching journey here at RCCK alongside you all.
Please come and find me and say hello! I love to chat.
Both of my children have come to Rotorua Community Creche and Kindergarten, both from the age of two.
I started as a reliever when my eldest started school and my youngest was still at RCCK,which turned into part time employment.
I couldn't think of any other job that would bring me so much fun and enjoyment everyday in the way of pretend play and trying new things...
I enjoy messy play, face painting and being creative. If I'm not at work you can find me at Spotlight or Ajay's sourcing items to inspire creativity.
